"I'm really glad I ran into these guys and got a copy of their CD.
I managed to catch a show at the Black Cat in Washington, DC and wanted a copy of the Volunteers album as soon as I heard their first chords. The album's lyrics are laced with humor, poignant social commentary and just plain classic rock and roll mentality. Overlaying and emphasizing these are massive drumbeats, bass lines and guitar work. "Homos" is hilarious, "Lolita" is a classic that will definitely get a lot of airplay on UK networks within the next few months and the rest of the album is soon to follow.
I'd encourage anyone I know to buy their album and to take in a live show at their first opportunity. It's a cool feeling to find a band before they go big and this is a great chance."
